Chica is an intact female Chihuahua dog. She was sick. Did not eat for 7 days and urinated with blood and mucus. Owner Ms Thanh sent her to a vet but Chica was not better. Ms Thanh called Saigon Pet Hospital and requested Dr Nghia to check Chica on Labour Day. We found out Chica had serious pyometra -a uterus infection filled with pus.
CHICA was tested for all and emergency because she has some other medical problems. Operation was done. A huge uterus was removed. CHICA slowly got back to normal. She was discharged today from Saigon Pet Hospital.
Thank you do much Mr Sieu’s family. If we were late Po Po could have died due to uterus rupture.
